frequently dismisses the idea that medical imaging tests from
mammograms to CT scans could play much of a role in causing breast
cancer. Take this example from the web site for Cornell University's
Program on Breast Cancer and Environmental Risk Factors:

Ontario dairy farmer Michael
Schmidt has been found not guilty of a stream of charges relating to a
controversial raw-milk operation he runs.
In a judgment that ran nearly three hours, a Newmarket Justice of
the Peace said the cow-sharing operation Mr. Schmidt runs out of his
farm near Durham, Ont., does not violate the province's milk-marketing
or public-health regulations.
The judgment is the culmination of a three-year legal battle that
has made Mr. Schmidt a star in a growing international food-rights
movement fuelled by mistrust of the industrial food system.
Today's ruling means that raw, or unpasteurized, milk produced by
Mr. Schmidt's cows – heritage Canadiennes bred near the town of Durham,
Ont. – can legally be distributed to the small network of consumers who
have bought "cow shares” in exchange for access to the animals'
unprocessed milk. [full story] |
| Jan 21, 2010 | Today, a hard won victory in the battle for food freedom and farmers rights was won. Michael Schmidt, a Canadian dairy farmer is now cleared on all 20 counts of "selling" raw dairy in violation of Canada Health regulations.
Dear Farming/Health Editors:
Today, a hard won victory in the battle for food freedom and
farmers rights was won. Michael Schmidt, a Canadian dairy farmer is now cleared
on all 20 counts of "selling" raw dairy in violation of Canada Health
regulations. He is now free to continue operating his cow boarding program. I
believe this signals health regulators in all of North America (this problem is
happening here in the U.S. also) that their current campaign against raw dairy
farms and their customers is without merit and an overstepping of their bounds
and duties.

If you wish to write a story on this, I do have expert
sources on the ground in Canada that may be interviewed.

GLOBAL FOOD REPORTER
Chewing a hay lunch, Svetlana, Viola and Leah display a bored calm
in their wide, brown eyes. Their glazed looks belie the burgeoning
legal war over the product of their udders.
These unassuming dairy cattle have become symbols of a growing
international food rights movement fuelled by mistrust of the
industrial food system.
A Newmarket justice of the peace is scheduled to decide today
whether raw (unpasteurized) milk produced by the cows - heritage
Canadiennes bred near the town of Durham, Ont., by activist farmer
Michael Schmidt - can legally be distributed to the small network of
consumers who have bought "cow shares" from Mr. Schmidt in exchange for
access to the animals' unprocessed milk.
Although it is not illegal to consume raw milk in Canada, selling or
distributing violates laws that require pasteurization of most
commercial milk products. [full story] |

Our Natural Health Products Are At Risk!
Canada’s Sovereignty is at Risk!Help Stop Bills C-51, C-52 and the Drug Class Natural Health Products Regulations
BELLEVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA; On April 8th, 2008, the Canadian Minister of Health, Tony Clement introduced Bill C-51 into the House of Commons. This Bill proposes significant changes to the current Food and Drugs Act that will have wide-ranging negative implications for Canadians. As usual our MPs were not consulted in advance. They were ordered [WHIPPED] to vote for passing the Bill without even reading the bill in most cases (a “whipped” vote is a government ordered vote in which the MPs must vote with the government or be expelled from their party’s caucus).
If Bill C-51 gets passed and becomes law and the Drug Class Natural Health Products Regulations obtain legislative authority and are not immediately cancelled, more than 70% of our Natural Health Products will be removed from Canadians while many others will be available by prescription only. Three existing examples of “Prescription Dietary Food Supplements” are larger doses of Vitamins A and D and L-Carnitine [full story] |

| Sep 9, 2007 | This is a critical time in Canadian history. Never before, since 1867, has our country been in such a decayed state This is a critical time in Canadian history. Never before, since 1867, has our country been in such a decayed state in regards to having a continuing stable and mutually respectful faith-based, proud and free Parliamentary based, rule of law democratic society. Trust and confidence in our leaders are at an all time low.
In feudal times every society has had its challenges with some group wanting to seize and hold onto power in order to control and exploit society for their own self-serving schemes. Ironically, these “Feudal Issues” are still alive and well here in Canada today, despite our proud British tradition stemming from the Magna Charta and over 800 years of respect for the sovereignty of all “Human / Natural Persons” in our society.
